What this is

winterchill is a search tool for software, data, and engineering jobs across the UK. We gather roles that companies and job sites have already published publicly, normalise them into one place, and link every listing back to its original posting so you apply at the source. Browsing the board, searching, and filtering are free and always will be.

We don't sell job data

The job listings are not our product, and we don't sell, resell, license, or redistribute them as a dataset. We aggregate publicly available postings purely to make them easier to search, and we point you to the original source to apply. If you are a site or employer and want a listing removed or excluded, just get in touchand we'll take it down.

How we're funded

Some features are powered by AI — matching your CV to roles, tailoring a CV for a job's applicant-tracking system, and suggesting concrete improvements. Each of those runs on paid large-language-model APIs, and every match, tailor, and suggestion costs us real money in tokens.

If we ever charge, a paid plan exists for one reason only: to cover that AI compute— the LLM usage your account triggers. It is not a way to monetise job data, and it never buys access to listings (those stay free for everyone). You're paying for the optional AI work done on your CV, not for the jobs.
