Location: Ealing / Hybrid (some office attendance required)

Salary: £Competitive + car allowance

Contract type: Permanent – Full Time (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

We're looking for a Director of Data Analytics & BI to provide strategic leadership for A2Dominion's Data Analytics & Business Intelligence function. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, you'll be responsible for defining and delivering our enterprise Data Strategy, ensuring trusted, governed and high-quality data underpins organisational performance, regulatory compliance and better outcomes for our customers.

This is a pivotal leadership role with organisation-wide impact. You'll lead the development of a modern, scalable data operating model, oversee data governance, engineering, analytics and business intelligence capabilities, and ensure A2Dominion continues to evolve into a truly insight-led organisation. You'll also play a key role in shaping how advanced analytics, AI and emerging technologies support future decision-making and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Define and deliver A2Dominion's Data Strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities, regulatory requirements and technology objectives

Lead and develop a high-performing Data & Analytics function spanning governance, engineering, analytics and business intelligence

Establish and lead a scalable enterprise data operating model that supports consistent governance, ownership and accountability across the organisation

Provide executive leadership for data governance, data quality, data standards, stewardship and regulatory compliance

Ensure the organisation operates with trusted data definitions, lineage and controls, creating a single version of the truth across reporting, analytics and decision-making

Lead the development and operation of secure, resilient and scalable data platforms, architectures and pipelines

Drive the adoption of the "Create Once, Publish Everywhere" (COPE) approach, ensuring data products are built once and reused across the organisation

Lead the development and adoption of advanced analytics, AI and data science capabilities that deliver measurable business value

Own and manage the organisation's data risk position, ensuring risks are identified, mitigated and reported effectively

Provide assurance to Executive and Board-level stakeholders regarding data quality, governance and control effectiveness

Manage the Data & Analytics budget, ensuring value for money and measurable outcomes from investments in data and technology

More About You

Experience working within Social Housing/Local Authority, or a similarly sector is highly desirable.

A degree or equivalent experience in Data, Analytics, Technology or a related discipline

Significant experience leading enterprise Data, Analytics, Business Intelligence and Data Governance functions

A proven track record of defining and delivering Data Strategies and enterprise operating models

Strong knowledge of modern data platforms, architectures, cloud technologies and analytics ecosystems

Deep understanding of data governance, regulatory compliance, assurance frameworks and risk management

Experience delivering organisation-wide transformation through data, analytics and insight

Proven ability to influence and engage Executive teams, Boards and senior stakeholders

Experience leading and developing multi-disciplinary teams across governance, engineering, analytics and BI

The ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with operational delivery and risk management
