Principal Engineer

We're looking for a Principal Full Stack Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, influencing architecture decisions, and building modern, scalable software that delivers real business impact. Lead the design and development of large-scale software solutions that support critical business capabilities

Shape technical architecture and engineering standards across multiple products and teams

Build modern, cloud-native applications using scalable and resilient design principles

Contribute across the full technology stack, from user interfaces to APIs and backend services

Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance on complex development initiatives

Drive best practices in software quality, performance, security, and maintainability

Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams to translate business needs into technical solutions

Support continuous improvement through modern DevOps and Agile engineering practices

Must-haves

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline

Significant experience delivering software solutions at Principal Engineer level

Strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Angular or comparable modern front-end technologies

Experience building backend services using Node.js or similar technologies

Proven experience designing and developing complex distributed systems

Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices

Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS

Experience developing and deploying microservices-based applications

Strong understanding of high-availability, scalability, and performance optimization concepts

Experience working within Agile software development environments

Nice to have

Experience with Swift and the Vapor framework for server-side API development

Experience building APIs with technologies such as C# or Java

Experience with NoSQL databases including Couchbase or MongoDB

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices
