Arm is helping shape the future of AI and compute, from cloud and edge infrastructure to embedded systems, connected devices, and Arm-based silicon. Arm Workforce Development builds technical capability across markets, partners, and institutions working with Arm-based technologies.

We are looking for a Senior Embedded & Platform Software Engineer, Workforce Development to deliver and improve technical content, labs, demos, and practical activities focused on embedded systems, platform software, and Arm-based development environments. Strong working knowledge of Arm-based technologies, tools, platforms, or development environments is required. You will be expected to contribute confidently from the outset.

What you’ll do

Deliver technical content, applied labs, demos, and practical activities focused on embedded systems, platform software, and Arm-based development environments.

Prepare, test, and adapt labs, setup guides, demos, software stacks, and practical exercises before delivery.

Support tooling, boards, SDKs, development environments, lab setup, and participant setup.

Troubleshoot issues across tools, platforms, software environments, boards, debug workflows, and labs.

Work with technical specialists, product colleagues, partners, and institutions to clarify setup requirements, dependencies, and delivery risks.

Maintain technical quality across delivered content, labs, demos, and practical activities.

Improve labs, technical assets, setup guidance, and readiness checks based on delivery feedback.

What you’ll bring

Strong working knowledge of Arm-based technologies, tools, platforms, or development environments.

Technical grounding in embedded systems, platform software, firmware, Arm-based development environments, software enablement, systems engineering, or related domains.

Experience delivering or supporting technical content, applied labs, demos, engineering projects, developer enablement, or partner-facing technical activity.

Practical understanding of software and systems workflows, such as toolchains, debugging, profiling, platform bring-up, lab environments, demos, or performance analysis.

Ability to troubleshoot practical technical issues in applied, lab-based, or partner-facing settings.

Ability to explain technical topics clearly to varied technical audiences

Degree in a relevant subject such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or equivalent technical experience.

Good organization, attention to detail, and strong delivery discipline.

Desirable experience

Experience with Arm-based platforms, Cortex processors, CMSIS, Keil, Corstone, Arm development tools, Linux, RTOS, Android, firmware, drivers, or embedded software.

Experience with boards, SDKs, toolchains, debug environments, platform bring-up, software stacks, or performance profiling.

Experience improving labs, demos, setup guides, technical assets, readiness checks, or partner-facing technical resources.

Experience supporting technical activity across partners, institutions, regions, or applied delivery settings

Location and travel

This is a global role with international travel based on partner engagement, technical activity, and program needs.
