Job Title

Founding Full-Stack Engineer

Salary

£70k-£75k + Equity

Company Description

Kiki Club is a $5.5M venture-backed startup supported by Blackbird and executives from Airbnb and Uber, building the trust layer for global subletting. Based in Shoreditch, they are creating an invite-only marketplace that uses social connections and AI to solve the human problem of sharing homes with strangers safely.

Job Description

As the third founding engineer, you will own the full-stack development of Kiki Club’s trust-based subletting platform. Working directly with the founders in Shoreditch, you’ll ship high-impact features using TypeScript and React to scale a marketplace already generating $4.2M gross ARR. You will help build the world’s first AI-centric global subletting community.

Location

London, UK

Why this role is remarkable

Exceptional traction with $4.2M gross ARR and 30% month-over-month growth since launching in London just ten months ago.

Backed by a high-profile roster of investors including Blackbird and early executives from Facebook Marketplace, Airbnb, Uber, and Canva.

True founding opportunity to shape the engineering culture and product roadmap for a platform aiming to impact one billion people.

What You Will Do

Develop and ship high-priority features for the iOS app and web platform using TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Nest.js.

Architect an AI-driven marketplace that leverages 10,000+ real user conversations to automate trust-based matching between hosts and guests.

Take full ownership of the technical stack and product lifecycle, from initial concept through deployment on AWS and Vercel.

The ideal candidate

3+ years of professional full-stack experience, ideally in a fast-paced startup environment, with a heavy emphasis on modern front-end development.

Holds a computer science or software engineering degree from a reputable university and has a proven track record of building end-to-end projects.

A first-principles problem solver who thrives in ambiguity and has the resilience to build a category-defining company from the ground up.
