This role sits within a front-office technology environment, focused on building and maintaining high-quality data infrastructure that supports trading, research, and portfolio analytics across a multi-asset platform.

You will play a key role in developing scalable data pipelines and ensuring reliable access to clean, well-structured data used by portfolio managers, analysts, and technologists. The position offers strong ownership across the full data lifecycle, from ingestion through to delivery in production systems.

Working within a collaborative and high-impact team, you will partner closely with both technical and business stakeholders to improve data quality, accessibility, and overall platform robustness.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimise scalable data pipelines to transform raw datasets into usable formats for analytics and trading

Work closely with stakeholders to onboard and integrate external and internal data sources

Develop and maintain data validation and quality controls to ensure accuracy and consistency

Support production data workflows, troubleshooting issues and ensuring reliable data availability

Contribute to improving data architecture, standards, and documentation across the platform

Collaborate with engineering and front-office teams to enhance data accessibility and usability

Participate in maintaining system stability and availability, including occasional out-of-hours support where required

Requirements

5+ years of experience building data pipelines in a financial or trading environment

Strong programming skills in Python (including pandas or similar libraries)

Familiarity with modern data tools and frameworks (e.g. cloud storage, workflow orchestration, messaging systems)

Experience working with large, complex datasets from multiple sources

Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach

Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

My client offers a highly competitive total compensation package, alongside strong benefits and the opportunity to work in a high-performance, front-office environment with direct impact on trading and investment processes.
