Work with Python, SQL, TypeScript, cloud data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, API integrations, workflow automation, production AI/LLM applications, Docker, and Kubernetes. Oliver Bernard have recently partnered with a rapidly growing, multi-site business embarking on an ambitious AI and data transformation programme.
This is a rare opportunity to become the first in-house technical leader, working directly with the CEO to transform how the business operates through data, automation and AI.
Rather than inheriting an existing platform, you'll build one from the ground up—connecting core business systems, designing the central data platform, creating real-time reporting and implementing AI-powered workflows that remove manual processes across Finance, Sales, Commercial and Operations.
You'll have the autonomy to shape the technical roadmap, recommend new technologies where appropriate and lead external engineering partners, while remaining hands-on throughout delivery.
We're looking for someone with experience in:

• Cloud data platforms and ETL/ELT pipelines
