Lead Software Engineer required to join a rapidly growing London-based deep tech scale-up developing next-generation software powered by agentic AI workflow engines.

This is a technical leadership role for someone who wants to remain hands-on. You'll work alongside a high-calibre engineering team, helping shape architecture, drive technical direction, and solve complex engineering challenges while continuing to build exceptional software.

You are:

A Full Stack Software Engineer with 7+ years of commercial experience

Highly proficient with TypeScript across both frontend and backend development

Experienced designing scalable systems with strong system design and architectural expertise

Comfortable building agentic AI workflow engines or AI-powered software products

A strong communicator who enjoys collaborating across engineering, product, and leadership teams

Passionate about writing high-quality software and leading through technical excellence rather than people management

Bonus points:

Experience building AI-native features or LLM-powered applications

Previous experience within a high-growth scale-up or venture-backed technology company
