Job Description

Romeai is hiring a Product Engineer in London to build the application layer for AI-driven global supply chain coordination. Working directly with former YC founders, you will own features end-to-end, from UX to backend APIs. You will bridge the gap between core AI technology and daily workflows for massive enterprise clients.

Location

London, UK

Why this role is remarkable

Join a lean team of seven with outsized impact, including former YC founders, as they open their first London office and approach Series A funding.

Work on a high-traction product with direct C-suite contracts at global giants like VW, solving critical coordination problems in the physical economy.

Backed by world-class investors including General Catalyst and the founders of Dropbox, Perplexity, and Toast, providing both stability and top-tier mentorship.

What You Will Do

Build and own the application layer end-to-end, including high-performance product surfaces, intuitive UX, and robust integrations that power global logistics.

Translate complex AI agent capabilities into seamless user experiences that manage workflows across suppliers, factories, and logistics partners.

Ship high-quality code rapidly in a fast-paced environment, working directly with customers to iterate on features and solve real-world supply chain fragility.

The ideal candidate

3-10 years of experience shipping real products at fast-growing startups, with a proven track record of end-to-end technical ownership.

Strong computer science fundamentals and full-stack proficiency across modern web technologies, prioritizing systems-level understanding over framework expertise.

Thrives in high-ambiguity environments and possesses the product-mindedness to bridge technical possibilities with user needs effectively.
