You will develop and maintain .NET applications using C#/.NET, ASP.NET, .NET Core, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, Azure, Azure DevOps, Git, SharePoint Online, and Power Automate. As part of the Applications & Development team, you will build and support business-critical applications and contribute to modernising systems across the organisation.

Application Developer
London | Hybrid - 3 days on-site per week | Market Salary - Dependent on Experience | Permanent
Our London-based client is seeking an Applications Developer with 3–5 years' experience to join their team on a permanent basis. You'll become part of a collaborative IT function that is embracing modern technologies while maintaining a strong service-focused culture. As part of the Applications & Development team, you'll play a key role in developing, enhancing, and supporting business-critical applications, helping to deliver secure, efficient, and innovative technology solutions across the organisation. Working alongside a well-established IT department, you'll contribute to the ongoing modernisation of systems and processes while ensuring applications continue to meet the evolving needs of the business.
Key responsibilities
Developing and maintaining .NET applications.
Designing and building new software solutions.
Supporting and improving existing systems.
Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders to understand requirements.
Troubleshooting and resolving application issues.
Producing technical documentation.
Keeping systems secure, up to date, and following development best practice.
Staying up to date with new technologies, including Azure, AI, and the Microsoft Power Platform.
Experience Required:
C#/.NET, ASP.NET and .NET Core.
SQL Server.
JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
REST APIs.
Microsoft Azure.
Azure DevOps and Git.
SharePoint Online.
Power Automate (Microsoft Power Platform).
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Experience:
Power BI or SSRS reporting.
Microsoft Office development (VBA/.NET).
ITIL environments.
AI services within Microsoft Azure.
