About the role: I'm currently supporting a leading global investment firm in hiring a Senior Developer to join their Front Office Investment Technology team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a strategic, multi-year programme building a centralised Real-Time Investment Data platform used by Portfolio Managers, Traders and Quant teams. The role is focused on integrating vendor market data platforms, delivering scalable data services, and providing a consistent investment data capability across the business.
Requirements:
Python development experience
Experience building investment or market data platforms within Financial Services
AWS cloud experience (Lambda, S3, serverless, integrations)
Knowledge of real-time data, time-series data, and event-driven systems
Experience integrating vendor platforms such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, MarketAxess or similar
Strong understanding of Front Office investment data, including market data, pricing, orders, positions and portfolios.
This is an integration-focused engineering role rather than a greenfield software development position, making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex investment data challenges, working closely with Front Office stakeholders, and delivering scalable cloud-based data solutions.
