The Role
You will take ownership of data initiatives for a specific region and play a key role in developing and improving the organisation's data platform.
Key responsibilities include:
Building and maintaining ELT pipelines across the Azure ecosystem
Developing solutions using SQL, Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric
Supporting data migration and modernisation projects
Improving data quality, processing efficiency and reliability
Working with legacy data models and integrating new solutions
Developing and supporting Power BI reporting capabilities
Performing data cleansing and transformation using notebooks within ADF
Collaborating with Data Engineering, Data Acquisition and Analytics teams
Contributing to architectural discussions and technology decisions
Delivering solutions within Agile and Scrum environments
Your Skills & Experience
You will have strong commercial experience with:
SQL, with advanced query writing and optimisation skills
Microsoft technology stack development
Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Microsoft Fabric
Azure cloud technologies
ELT pipeline development and maintenance
Data migration projects
Data cleansing and transformation processes
Legacy data models
Power BI reporting
