Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer

Salary: Up to £72,000

Location: Leeds, Manchester, Bristol, London, Birmingham or Glasgow (Hybrid)

We are supporting a leading UK digital consultancy in recruiting a Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer to join their growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale digital transformation programmes across the Public Sector and Healthcare, building secure, scalable digital services that make a real impact.

We're looking for an experienced engineer with strong Kotlin and Java expertise who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, mentoring others, and delivering high-quality software within Agile, multidisciplinary teams.

Candidates must have experience of:

Kotlin and JVM development

Java and Spring Boot

Microservices and REST APIs

Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js or Nunjucks

AWS, Azure or GCP

Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform

CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps

Agile software delivery

Mentoring engineers and promoting engineering best practice

Desirable experience:

Consultancy experience

Public Sector or NHS projects

Kafka, Helm or other cloud-native technologies
