You will design, build, and maintain complex technology solutions that underpin regulatory and compliance functions, helping to identify, manage, and mitigate risks within a dynamic and constantly evolving environment. The position offers significant exposure to cross-functional collaboration, working closely with technology, compliance, operations, and business stakeholders. To be successful, you will have 8+ years of software engineering experience, with strong expertise in Python development and a solid understanding of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies. Experience delivering scalable, high-quality solutions within regulated environments would be highly advantageous.

What you'll be doing:

Design and develop regulatory reporting systems using Python and RPA tools

Assess risks and challenges within a changing regulatory environment

Develop and manage data quality and assurance utilising database tooling

Optimize and improve existing reporting platforms and systems

Provide technical support across the wider regulatory environment

Partner with IT and compliance stakeholders to ensure quality and requirements are met

Key Skills:

8+ years software development experience, with a focus on Python

Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

Experience with SQL and database tooling

Experience with derivative products across financial services

Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical approach

Knowledge of modern technologies, architecture and cloud services

Experience working with non-technical stakeholders
