I’m currently working with a well-established consumer tech business that’s growing its mobile engineering team and looking to add a Lead Android Developer.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building high-quality mobile products at scale, leading technical direction, and mentoring engineers within a modern engineering environment.

💡 What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the development and maintenance of native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

• Driving technical decisions, architecture, and engineering best practices

• Working across the full SDLC

• Collaborating closely with Product and Design teams

• Mentoring and supporting other developers within the team

• Helping shape the future mobile strategy and delivery roadmap

✅ What they’re looking for:

• Strong commercial Android development experience

• Previous experience in a Lead or Senior-level role

• Experience building scalable mobile applications

• Strong understanding of modern Android architecture

• Comfortable working in agile environments

• Passion for clean, maintainable code and team collaboration

⭐ Nice to have:

• Exposure to cross-platform development

• Interest in AI tooling/workflows

📍 2 days per week in the London office

💰 Up to £105k
