We're partnering with an innovative AdTech business that is scaling its platform and looking to add a talented Backend Engineer with Golang experience to its growing engineering team.
This is an opportunity to work on high-performance, distributed systems that process large volumes of data in a fast-paced environment. You'll play a key role in designing, building, and optimising backend services, helping to drive the scalability, reliability, and performance of a cutting-edge advertising platform used by leading brands.
Working within a collaborative, cross-functional engineering team, you'll have the chance to influence technical decisions, contribute to architecture discussions, and build solutions that have a direct impact on the business.
What You'll Be Doing
Developing and enhancing backend microservices using Golang
Building scalable, reliable, and high-performing systems
Designing and integrating RESTful APIs
Collaborating with Product, Engineering, and wider business teams to deliver new features
Contributing to system architecture and technical improvements
Supporting frontend development where required using modern JavaScript frameworks
What We're Looking For
Commercial experience developing backend applications with Golang
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
Understanding of microservices architecture
Frontend experience is beneficial, particularly with Vue.js and Nuxt.js
A passion for clean code, performance optimisation, and scalable system design
