My client is building one of the UK's leading vehicle logistics platforms, combining modern software engineering, optimisation and machine learning to solve complex real-world problems at scale. As the business continues to grow, we're looking for developers from a range of backgrounds to join the team.

We're interested in three types of candidates:

Option 1: Commercial Software engineer

1-3+ years of commercial C#/.NET development experience

Strong understanding of software engineering best practices

Experience working on production systems

Interest in learning Python and working on optimisation problems

Option 2: Research / Academic Engineer

PhD, Postdoctoral Researcher or Lecturer

Mathematics or Physics background

Strong Python experience

Looking to apply analytical and research skills within industry and happy to learn C#/.Net

Option 3: Hybrid Profile

Commercial software development experience in C#/.NET

Strong mathematical, scientific or analytical background

Interested in algorithms, optimisation and data-driven problem solving

Keen to work across both platform engineering and advanced technical challenges

What You'll Be Doing

Building and enhancing features within a modern .NET application

Developing scalable, reliable software used by major automotive businesses

Working on optimisation and route-planning challenges

Collaborating with a highly technical engineering team

Contributing to Python-based tooling and algorithms where relevant
