Salary: up to £70,000

Location: Leeds, Newcastle or Manchester, three days a week in the office

Our client is a digital consultancy who are hiring a Full Stack Developer to build citizen-facing services for a major central government department. The services go out to millions of people who have no alternative provider, so the bar on accessibility, resilience and testing is set properly and held to.

You'll write Node.js and TypeScript behind Express REST APIs, with Angular on the front end and Jest tests going in alongside the code. You need active SC clearance and you'll be asked to evidence it.

Node.js: strong commercial application development

JavaScript and TypeScript: excellent working knowledge

Express.js: building REST APIs

Angular: commercial development experience

Jest: automated testing

GitLab CI/CD
