Linux Endpoint Security Engineer - Intune, Microsoft Defender, Endpoint

A client of mine within Higher Education is currently looking for a Linux Endpoint Security Engineer with a strong background supporting Linux desktop / End-User endpoints environments.

To be successful, you will demonstrate practical experience of using Linux, Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint together within a production environment.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience supporting Linux desktop/end-user endpoint environments.

Hands-on experience managing Linux devices through Microsoft Intune.

Strong experience deploying and configuring Microsoft Defender for Endpoint on Linux.

Ability to integrate Linux, Intune and Defender into a secure endpoint management solution.

Experience onboarding and managing Linux devices within an enterprise environment.

Familiarity with wider Microsoft Security and Endpoint Management technologies.

Strong understanding of Endpoint Security, compliance and vulnerability management.

Experience with Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

Knowledge of synthetic device objects within Microsoft Endpoint management environments.

Experience with Vulnerability Management tools.

Flexibility to go on-site 1 day a week in London

Nice to Have:

Available immediately

Experience working within a Managed SOC or enterprise security environment.

Understanding of endpoint detection, vulnerability remediation and compliance controls.
