Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and plant.

Diagnose faults and undertake repairs across a variety of building services equipment.

Conduct inspections, testing and maintenance of electrical infrastructure.

Complete all work in accordance with statutory regulations, health & safety requirements and site procedures.

Produce maintenance reports and ensure accurate completion of work records.

Assist with contractor supervision and inductions when required.

Support the Working Supervisor and deputise where necessary.

Participate in the on-call rota and respond to out-of-hours requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

Previous experience within commercial building maintenance.

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements.

Understanding of HVAC systems and water treatment desirable.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

IOSH Working Safely or similar qualification advantageous.

What you'll get in return

£45000 Salary Per Annual

25 Days annual leave plus Bank Holidays

Pension Scheme (5% employee / 4% employer contributions)

1 in 3 on-call rota with £100 weekly standby payment

x1.5 after normal working hours Monday to Friday and until 12:30pm Saturday & x2 after 1:00pm Saturday and all day Sunday
