We're partnering with a fast-growing SaaS business that is transforming how organisations identify, engage, and convert high-value opportunities through real-time data and automation. Following continued growth and investment, they're now looking to hire a Lead Engineer to help drive the next stage of product and platform development.

This is a hands-on leadership role within a high-performing engineering team, ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while influencing architecture, engineering standards, and technical direction.

The Role

As Lead Full-Stack Engineer, you'll combine strong technical expertise with leadership and architectural ownership. You'll play a key role in delivering new product capabilities, improving platform performance, and helping shape the long-term technical vision of the business.

This is primarily a hands-on engineering role, with the majority of your time spent building, shipping, and improving software while supporting the wider engineering team.

What You'll Be Doing

Provide architectural guidance across frontend, backend, database, and search infrastructure

Drive engineering best practices around scalability, maintainability, security, and performance

Help define and evolve engineering standards across the organisation

Design and optimise PostgreSQL schemas, migrations, and query performance

Own delivery of complex features from discovery through deployment and monitoring

Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and drive continuous platform improvements

Support and mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and pairing sessions

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience building and scaling SaaS products

Strong experience leading architecture and system design initiatives

Excellent full-stack development capability within modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)

Tech Stack: Javascript (React), Typescript (Node), Database
