Technical Delivery Manager
Technical Delivery Manager - London (Hybrid – 2–3 days per week in the office) – Salary up to £85,000 + package
We are seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to lead and coordinate the successful delivery of complex technology and integration initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders. This role sits at the intersection of technology, delivery, and stakeholder management, ensuring programmes are effectively planned, governed, and executed within a modern cloud-native environment.
You will work closely with engineering, architecture, operations, and business teams to manage dependencies, mitigate risks, align roadmaps, and drive delivery outcomes across a range of strategic technical projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead delivery planning and execution across multiple technical workstreams, teams, and projects
Coordinate timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery readiness activities
Work closely with engineering, architecture, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery
Translate business requirements into structured delivery plans and actionable workstreams
Manage cross-team and cross-platform dependencies, ensuring visibility across delivery roadmaps and priorities
Identify and proactively resolve blockers, risks, and delivery challenges
Support capacity planning, workload management, and delivery feasibility assessments
Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure operational readiness, deployment planning, and production support requirements are met
Ensure delivery governance, reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communications are maintained throughout the project lifecycle
Provide guidance on integration approaches, workflows, and technical delivery best practices
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience delivering complex technical programmes across multiple teams and stakeholders
Strong understanding of cloud-native environments, ideally including Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes (AKS)
Experience working with workflow orchestration technologies such as Argo Workflows, Airflow, or Temporal
Strong planning, roadmap management, dependency management, and risk management capabilities
Understanding of integration architectures, workflows, message flows, and orchestration concepts
Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps, and monitoring
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong organisational skills with a proactive, delivery-focused approach
