1. About these terms
winterchill ("we", "us") operates the job board at jobs.winterchill.xyz and its related tools. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
2. The service
winterchill is a free search tool that aggregates publicly available UK technology job listings into one place and links each one back to its original source, plus optional AI features that help you match and improve your CV. We are not an employer, recruiter, or agency, and we do not receive or process job applications — you apply at the source.
3. Job listings
Listings are gathered from publicly available sources and are provided for convenience. We don't guarantee that any listing is accurate, complete, current, or still open, and details (including salary, location, and visa-sponsorship signals) are best-effort and may be wrong or out of date. Always verify on the original posting before applying.
4. AI features
CV matching, ATS tailoring, and improvement suggestions are generated using third-party large-language models. Their output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable, and is not professional, career, legal, or immigration advice. You are responsible for reviewing and editing anything before you rely on or submit it. We don't guarantee any outcome (interviews, offers, or visa sponsorship).
5. Accounts & acceptable use
You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login secure. Don't misuse the service: no automated scraping or bulk extraction of the site, no attempts to overload, disrupt, or break its security, no uploading of unlawful or infringing content, and no use that violates applicable law or others' rights.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the CVs and text you provide. You grant us permission to process that content to deliver the features you request — including sending it to our AI providers to generate matches and suggestions. See the Privacy Policy for details.
7. Plans & payment
winterchill is run at cost and not for profit. The board and listings are free; any paid plan exists only to cover the AI/compute cost your account triggers (see Pricing and About). When paid plans become available, the specific price and billing terms will be shown at the point of purchase and form part of these terms.
8. No warranty & liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on the listings or AI output. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes, law & contact
We may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Questions or requests: hello@winterchill.xyz.
