Mobile Technical Lead (iOS or Android)

OTE: £190,000 | Hybrid (1 or 2 days per week in London) | Full-Time | Permanent

We’re looking for an experienced Mobile Developer Tech Lead to drive the next generation of mobile products across iOS and Android platforms, with a strong focus on AI-powered user experiences and modern mobile architecture.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge mobile applications across iOS or Android.

Architect scalable, maintainable, and secure mobile solutions using modern frameworks and best practices.

Drive technical strategy and engineering standards across mobile platforms.

Mentor and manage mobile engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Work closely with Product, UX/UI, Data, and Backend teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Champion CI/CD, testing automation, observability, and mobile performance optimisation.

Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the mobile ecosystem.

Required Experience:

Strong commercial experience developing native or cross-platform mobile applications.

Proven technical leadership experience leading engineering teams or large mobile projects.

Deep expertise in:

Swift / SwiftUI

Kotlin / Android SDK

React Native or Flutter (desirable)

Experience integrating AI/ML services and APIs into mobile applications.

Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns, APIs, cloud services, and scalable systems.
