We’re partnering with an exciting and mission-driven SaaS business operating within the clean energy space, currently looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join their growing engineering team.

This is an opportunity to work on complex, high-impact software helping organisations make smarter energy investment and infrastructure decisions as part of the global transition towards decarbonisation.

The company is building a highly sophisticated modelling and simulation platform and is looking for engineers who enjoy solving difficult technical challenges while maintaining a strong focus on product, usability, and customer outcomes.

The Opportunity

This is a genuinely product-focused engineering role where you’ll own problems end-to-end — from discovery and solution design through to delivery, iteration, and optimisation.

You’ll work closely with product, design, data, and domain experts, helping shape features around simulation, configuration, analytics, visualisation, and reporting capabilities within a modern cloud-native SaaS environment.

Strong Product Mindset

Passion for building products with real customer impact

Ability to think beyond tickets and understand the “why”

Comfortable collaborating directly with users and stakeholders

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Technical Expertise

Strong commercial experience building modern web applications using React and TypeScript

Excellent JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals

Experience designing scalable systems and APIs

Strong understanding of software architecture and engineering best practices

Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines

Appreciation for clean UX and product quality

Cloud & Platform Experience

Experience building scalable cloud-native applications in AWS

Understanding of observability, monitoring, reliability, and security best practices

AI & Modern Engineering Practices

Comfortable using AI-assisted development tooling

Interest in how AI/LLMs can improve products and engineering workflows in practical ways

Nice to Have

Python experience

Data engineering, analytics, or machine learning exposure

Experience with visualisation platforms

Background within SaaS, energy, fintech, scientific computing, or modelling environments

Start-up or scale-up experience
